What To Expect:

Congratulations On Taking Another Step Towards Your Best Life With Your Dog!

Here’s A Brief Breakdown Of What To Expect From Your First Session:

  • You and your pet will get my undivided attention for 60 minutes.
  • I’m looking to get a glimpse into your current everyday life with your pet. You don’t have to do anything special to prepare. I want to see your normal.
  • I’ll offer actionable insights and suggestions that can help you break away from problem situations right away.
  • We’ll collaborate with our combined knowledge and skill sets to create a path forward for you.
  • Near the end of our session, you’ll decide if you’d like my continued guidance and training skills for the journey along that path.
  • Any future sessions that you commit to will come at a discounted rate, which can easily save you hundreds of dollars over the course of a training plan!

Some Info About Investment Costs:

  • The Breakthrough Session is free, of course.
  • If you want to continue working with me after that, any future sessions would be at a discounted rate of $125 (normally $150 each).
  •  It’s hard to say exactly how many sessions we might need together, but the first session also helps me to gauge a recommendation for that.
  • It usually takes at least about 4 sessions to start.
  • Commitments are generally on a month-to-month basis, with flexible payment options.

How We Help Overwhelmed Pet Owners

We value the quality of life that animals and humans have together, and the quality of our work. We firmly believe that every pet is unique and that training has to be modified to fit the individual needs of the animal. Instead of relying on outdated dominance-based methods, we modify behavior primarily with positive reinforcement.

In-Home Dog Training Programs

Catalyst In-Home Dog Training Programs are designed to maximize success for the average dog owner. They allow for more in-person, personalized support; more time to work on and understand key training concepts and techniques; increased flexibility to respond and adjust to behavioral changes; and they help keep you accountable and on track to meeting your behavior goals.

Behavior programs begin with an in-depth evaluation that examines all aspects of your pets’ behavior and what might be contributing to the issues. From there, we discuss a path forward that works for you and your pet.

Flexibility and customization is key to our success. We have Coaching options as well as Day Training options to help ensure that we achieve our desired results.

Coaching is where we work together and I help teach you how to handle your pet and feel confident working with them on your own.

Day Training helps to keep things moving along for the busy pet parents who can’t always be present for a session, but don’t want their pet to fall behind. During Day Training sessions I work directly with your pet while you are free to do whatever else it is that you need to do!

My Outlook & Methodology

Me and Rau
Our pets are our family. And they sometimes need some guidance to get them back on the right path, just like any one of us.
I draw from a wealth of experience and encounters with many different animals and people, in many different scenarios.

I know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to behavioral issues. And there’s always more than one way to reach a goal.

I always want to err on the side of reinforcement, but also recognize that sometimes corrections must be made. These corrections, if necessary, will be made at the most minimally aversive intensity as possible.

I view training projects as collaborative efforts. You and your pets are the experts on your life together. I can help you find shorter paths to reach your goals. Everyone can bring something to the table.

I encourage questions and discourse.

I try to make training projects as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

I value openness and integrity.

I’m grateful for everyone that I get to work with, and am very excited to meet (and hopefully work with) you and your pets!
